Ceremony and ritual are important ways of marking the moments that matter in our lives – I want to help you celebrate!

Baby Naming/Family Welcome

If you’d like to celebrate a new arrival in your family, but you don’t want it to be a religious service, this may be what you are after. This can be for a new birth or a newly adopted family member. Many people like to use this occasion to nominate people who will have a special role in the child’s life

Vow Renewal

As we grow and change, so do our relationships. A vow renewal can be a lovely way to celebrate the relationship you have while setting new intentions for yourself and your partner, and recommitting to keeping your relationship a priority.

Commitment Ceremony

So you and your partner want to commit to one another, but you don’t want the government getting involved in your relationship? I can help you with that too. A commitment ceremony can be a private occasion between a couple only, or you can declare your love and intentions in front of any number of family and friends.

Note: According to the Marriage Act 1961 I’m legally required to be clear at the ceremony that this is not a legal wedding.

Gender Affirmation/Name Affirmation

If you’re a trans or non-binary person who is now living a more authentic life, I’d love to help you mark the significance of this development. This might be a welcome party for the real you, a farewell to your old life/name, or something in between.

First Moon

Celebrate a young person’s menarche and the power that comes with the changes within their body and life. The path from childhood to adulthood through adolescence can be tough and awkward – I would love to help you to do something special to honour and enjoy that journey.

Something Else?

I would love to hear what kind of celebration you have in mind, and talk about how we can make it happen.
